If you are planning a trip make sure you use www.1000travelsites.com to find the best prices for flights and hotels. They search pretty much every travel provider on the web in a matter of seconds! Then they list the prices from all of the travel providers on one page so you definitely get the lowest price every time. I've tried other sites like this before, but this one aways has the most listings and the best prices. It's like the google of travel searches.

Hi there,
I found you while searching on the internet for other organisations working in Madagascar.
I was in India years ago with OM and one of the nurses on the original Logos. Yes I am now 60.
In our little Baptist church in Bournemouth UK we support a South Korean young couple working with AIM near Tana. Jonathan Lee is a doctor origially a colo-rectal surgeon but now covering a wider field. His wife, Hannah is a clinical psycologist but has a much wider ministry these days.
We met them when they were learning english in the UK and fell in love with their passion for God, vision and have supported them ever since.
We have been praying about visiting in Autumn 2010 with a team of 2-4 people to pitch in and help where we can. I am the only trained nurse/Midwife.
I have been following your e-mails and work with interest. I wonder if you can help me in our orientation and preparation for such a trip. How do you prepare your co-workers? As I said this is still at the planning/praying stage.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
In Christ,
Madeleine Parish

I am so excited to hear the report of the start of the school. I know that great things are going to happen in the live of those that attend (and support) this school. I am so thankful to you for giving me the chance to participate in this gift of love to those in need, in need of a hand up not just a hand out.
Thanks

I really enjoy your stories and how committed these people are to Jesus. Their lives are very simple but seem really full.
Good Bless you and Brooks in your travels

Very funny Brookes! This post balances your birthday one, which left me feeling you were so fortunate to experience all this. However, travel to adventurous destinations - particularly on mission - is a mixed blessing, isn't it? The wonder of it all is so often accompanied by tiredness, headaches, sickness and inevitably discomfort. Just when we wanted to be at our best too! I reckon it's to help us continue to grow - but does it have to be so uncomfortable?! So what I'm trying to say is - you have my sympathy and with God's help (and Roger's) - just do the best you can. Sounds like you're doing really well anyway.
Bless you both.

Having been to the Philippines, I have a LITTLE idea of your experience and a GREAT appreciation for your continued commitment to the mission in Africa. I can confidently say that your trips require much more sacrifice (personal comfort, finances, preparation, etc.) than mine did. I only went once. I don't have the same mission passion that you do as far as being there personally goes but I do have a passion to continue to financially and prayfully support the same pastors and their churches that we developed a relationship with over 10 yrs. ago. Even my one-time experience was life-changing and I'm still very grateful for the opportunity God gave Jim and me to go together on a mission trip. God bless you, Roger.

Great story, Brooks. Glad you were soooo blessed on your 60th b-day. I'm 6 yrs. older than Jim so we have similar exchanges about my age that you and Roger had. It's kind of fun.
